Motorola’s Licensed Microwave Solutions
| Expanding our market-leading Point-to-Point (PTP) portfolio with the new PTP 800 Licensed Ethernet Microwave solution. Now, you can give your customers the bandwidth they need to achieve always-on, triple-play communications and the reliability that licensed exclusivity affords. |

Expect Excellent Performance
Operating in the 6 to 38 GHz radio frequency (starting with 11, 23 & 26 GHz) with up to 368 Mbps throughput (full duplex, aggregate) and configurable channels widths from 7 to 56 MHz, PTP 800 systems have the same high quality standards that you have come to depend on from our other PTP solutions. Key PTP 800 features include:
- “Capacity-as-you-grow” Throughput – Reduce capital expenditures by starting small (as small as 10 Mbps capacity) and increasing throughput as needs grow
- Asymmetric Throughput Control – Where users download more information than they upload, assign different throughput capacities for the up and down links
- Compact Modem Unit (CMU): For your customers who have little or no rack space, the PTP 800’s small modem unit can be wall mounted or even set on a table.
| Expect Expert Support |
Our new and improved PTP LINKPlanner helps you plan and optimize PTP 800 links in a matter of hours, rather than days. Precise calculations give you projected performance details to reassure your customer and speed deployment, vital data for the licensing application, and a complete, licensed-microwave Bill-of-Materials (BOM) to simplify ordering procedures.
